Once you have observed the examples of Marvellous Spelling on the DVD you can either simply ‘have a go’ with a willing friend, child or classroom of children.
If the people you practice with are already good at spelling, just use words that they don’t already know how to spell. These could be uncommon English words (in which case you’ll need a good dictionary!) or even unfamiliar foreign words.
Marvellous Spelling is a great way to learn vocabulary in Modern Foreign Languages or technical words in Geography, Science and even English – words such as soliloquy or onomatopoeia.
Once you have purchased the DVD, ten members of staff at your school/organisation are entitled to one year's email mentoring from me and access to the members' site.
